FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Black Stars opponent Uganda fall to Togo

The Cranes of Uganda were handed 0-1 defeat by the Hawks of Togo on Tuesday in an international friendly.

Togo managed to put a goal past Uganda without a reply on Tuesday at the Kegue stadium in Lome in a warm-up game ahead of their respective FIFA World Cup qualifying games.

The visitors conceded a first half goal, and despite pushing for the equaliser, they couldn’t breach the defence line of Togo.

The last time Uganda visited Togo for a game was 2014, and they lost by the same margin.

Uganda Cranes will remain in home until Thursday morning when they travel to Tamale ahead of Friday match against Ghana.
