Black Maidens beat Morocco 6-0 to reach World Cup finals

Black Maidens booked a place in the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be staged at Jordan

A brace from Abdul Rahman Barikisu and a goal each from Mukaramma Abdulai, Philicity Aduako, Sandra Owusu Ansah and Grace Asantewaa completed the demolishing.

The Black Maidens, who were knocked out at the quarter-final stage at the last finals advanced into the second round of the AFrican qualifying after their opponents Sierra Leone pulled out ahead of the first round.

Ghana still remain as the only African country to reach the semifinals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup when Coach Mas-ud Didi Drama guided the Black Maidens to attain that historic feat in 2012 in Azerbaijan.

Jordan will host the World Cup from 30 September - 21 October.
