Black Stars goalie to quit AshGold

Fatau Dauda’s over a decade stint with the Miners will come to an end soon.

Fatau Dauda joined AshGold from Okwawu United in 2006 and has been guarding the post for the Miners since that time.

It was in between 2013 and 2014 that he played for Orlando Prates and Chippa United in the South African top-flight league, before rejoining AshGold last season to help them end their 19 years’ trophy drought.

“I had a good season with them, I don’t think I will sign another contract, I am working to move to Europe,” he told Metro TV.
