Bechem United players promised GHC5,000 each and holiday trip abroad

Bechem United will face Okwawu United on 4th September in the final of the MTN FA Cup final

Bechem United will face the GN National Division One League campaigner, who won the FA Cup in 1986 in this year’s MTN FA Cup final on 4th September.

Bechem United, being a Premier League side are expected to triumph over Okwawu United, but the FA Cup has the history producing a lot of upsets, even the manner in which the Soccer Mountaineers defied all odds to kick out high-fancied Liberty Professional is a warning to the Bechem lads.

And to boost the morale of the Premier League outfit, their management has put in place an excellent package to edge them on to victory.

"Bechem United wants to establish itself as the first club from the Brong Ahafo Region to win the MTN FA Cup, hence the need to motivate the players well enough to win the trophy," club president Kingsley Owusu Achau told the Daily Graphic yesterday.

"We want to play in Africa this season and we are ready to make Ghana proud in the competition."
