Jordan Ayew assists two goals in Aston Villa's draw against Nottingham Forest

Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew set up two goals for Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Black Stars striker was handed a start by club manager Roberto Di Matteo and went on to play in the entire duration of the game, receiving a yellow card in additional time.

Away team Nottingham Forest opened the scoring in the second half after a goalless first half in the Championship game. Apostolos Vellies scored the goal for Nottingham Forest.

Jordan Ayew played th assist for Ross McCormack to equalised before setting another up for Rudy Gestede to put Aston Villa up by two goals to one.

Henri Lansbury however scored three minutes to the end of regulation time to deny Aston Villa all three points as the game ended 2-2.

Ghanaian international Albert Adomah who joined Aston Villa from Premier League new boys Middlesbrough did not play a part in the game for his new club.
