Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena joins FC Zurich

Raphael Dwamena has finalised his switch from Austria Lustenau to FC Zurich in the Swiss second tier league.

The 21-year-old striker has been in devastating form this season for his Austrian second tier side, having bagged 18 goals in 20 league appearances and he has taken a decision to ply his trade elsewhere by putting pen to paper to complete three-year-contract with FC Zurich

His performance even caught the the attention of the Black Stars coach Avram Grant who named him in his provisional 26-man squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, but he failed to make the cut for the final 23.
