Ghana international provides assist in Leicester City’s 1-4 defeat to Man United

Daniel Amartey had a hand in Leicester City’s consolation goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The champions were overwhelmed by Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United who were on the rampage on the afternoon.

Chris Smalling gave the hosts the lead and Juan Mata made it 2-0 in favour of Manchester United.

Before Marcus Rashford on his debut Premier League start made it 3-0 and World record signing Paul Pogba scored the final goal for United in what was his first goal for the Red Devils after rejoining the club in the summer.

Claudio Ranieri replaced his two talismen, Jamie Vardy and Ryad Mahrez coming into the second half and his substitution paid off when Gray one of the two subs pulled one back for Leicester City.

Daniel Amartey’s pass was beautifully struck in Gray, but the game afterwards was an end to end reaction, and there were no more goals.

Amartey's compatriot Jeffery Schlupp was introduced in the game in the 62nd minute to replace Albrighton.
