Daniel Amartey has lauded his side, Leicester City's counter attacking football

Amartey, 21 excelled in a defensive midfield role in Leicester City's 2-1 victory over the weekend.

The Foxes rely on the pace of Jamie Vardy and the skills of Ryad Mahrez when in possession of the ball and their abilty to soak pressure and catch their opponents with swift counter-attacking football.

"That’s our strength – the counter attack – and we have to focus on playing one-twos," Amartey told LCFC TV.

"[Jamie] Vardy has speed, so we have to give the ball to him."
