Ghanaian winger returns to training with Malaga after injury

Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu joined his Malaga teammates for training on Friday after his muscular injury

Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu returned to Malaga training on Friday ahead of their Spanish La Liga game on Sunday against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid.

The player sustained a muscular injury earlier this month after his debut for the Spanish club. The former FC Porto player experienced discomfort in his debut game against Getafe and was replaced after the interval.

The club later confirmed Christian Atsu who scored in the game against Getafe had suffered a muscular injury to the anterior quadriceps in his right leg.

Atsu however trained at the Ciudad de Malaga stadium on Friday with the first team initially before he and teammate Juankar Perez underwent specific work with the ball under the supervision of fitness trainer Hugo Camarero.
