Christian Atsu has heaped praises on the Newcastle United fans for their support on his debut game for the club.

Ghanaian winger, Christian Atsu was satisfied with his output and the support he enjoyed from the Newcastle United fans in his debut game on Wednesday.

Atsu, 29 impressed on his in his debut, as he Newcastle mauled Queens Park Rangers 0-6 at the Loftus Road on Wednesday in the Championship and the former Everton player had a hand in the 5th goal.

He took to his Twitter handle to express his appreciation to the fans of Newcastle, after the victory

"Great performance and great support from our fans." Christian Atsu wrote.
