However, Ghana international Christian Atsu was not among those in the Blues travelling party for the flight ahead of exhibition games against Liverpool, Real Madrid and AC Milan across the pond.

Atsu joined the Stamford Bridge giants for pre-season n Austria with the entire Chelsea team and featured in three games.

But it seems the London club has decided on the fate of the former FC Porto star as the Italian gaffer has overlooked him for a 30-man squad for the tour of the USA.
The Blues touched down in Los Angeles a few hours ago to begin their West Coast stay.
Conte's side will travel on to Michigan from LA and finish the trip in Minneapolis, before returning to Europe for their final pre-season match against Werder Bremen in Bremen.
