Kudjoe Fianoo: “Ashgold have no excuse not to beat Bejaia”

The CEO of the Ashgold is confident that his side would overcome their Algerian counterparts in the Champions League.

Kudjoe Fianoo believes Ashgold is well prepared to knockout M.O Bejaia as the two sides come face to face in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League on 14th February, 2016

“We have no excuse not to beat M.O Bejaia. We are not facing any financial difficulties at the moment, because I have received a call from the Mines (Anglo Gold Ashanti) that money is ready for the Bejaia campaign and also the GFA has decided to assist us.

“The playing body is also poised to excel in the game,” he told Asempa FM.

Ghanaian clubs have always struggled against Algerian clubs and with the exception of Accra Hearts of Oak no club from the West African country has succeeded knocking out a side from Algeria, hence Ashgold would have to rewrite history by breaking that jinx.
