This is going to be the former Black Stars skipper's return to the team as coach-he headed the technical team of the Black Stars from 2012 to 2014.

During the two year period, he qualified Ghana for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, becoming the first indigene to do so, but he was sacked after Ghana's poor display in the Mundial amidst player boycott of training over the delay in the payment of appearance fees.
