Cruiserweight, Frank Owusu believes Bukom Banku is afraid to fight him

Braimah Kamako, a.k.a Bukom Banku early in the year stated he had quit boxing for politics and took to bleaching his skin but came out recently to announce that he has quit bleaching his skin and declared his intention to return into the ring.

There have been reports that a fight has been arranged between Bukom Banku and UK-based Ghanaian cruiserweight, Frank Owusu in September.

However, Frank Owusu has expressed that Bukom Banku is refusing to avail himself for the bout.

“I heard he is now a pastor. I want Bukom Banku to return into the ring and fight me if he is not afraid of me," he told Nhyira FM.

“I won’t say I will fight with him, but rather I will beat him. The bout should take place in Accra and not in Kumasi because he would complain that the Kumasi people will come and support me. I want to beat him in Accra.”

Bukom Banku’s last bout happened on 27th December, 2015 when he knocked out Ayittey Powers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
