The Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Sannie Darra, had earlier confirmed the association was in talks with the USA and Russia for friendly games.
“We want to us the games as a preparatory ground for the 2017 Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers,” He said.
However, there are reports that the game against the USA has been cancelled due a FIFA rule that forbids nation from travelling over long distances for international friendlies while club football is ongoing.
Ghana’s game against Russia is expected to be played on 6th September 2016 in Moscow, after the latter had played against Turkey on 31st August.
