The former Black Stars attacker has been tipped to take over from the Israeli trainer
Black Stars coach Avram Grant has come under intense criticisms by Ghanaians, following poor run of results, having failed to win any of his last five games in charge of the senior national team of Ghana.
The 61-year-old coach is now losing the support of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) who have lost patience with the man they hired in late 2014.
Pulse Sports understands that senior members of the football association are considered replacing Avram Grant with Ibrahim Tanko, who has been scouting for the national teams since losing his job as the assistant coach of the Cameroon senior male national football team, the Indomitable Lions.
Ibrahim Tanko, a former Black Stars and Borussia Dortmund attacker started his coaching career with FC Koln as assistant coach in 2011, before moving to Cameroon with his boss Volke Finke to assist him as coach of the Indomitable Lions.
