Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi robbed at East Legon

Patrick Twumasi, who plies his trade in Kazakhstan has been robbed at his residence in the Ghanaian capital Accra on Monday.

According to the report the robbers succeeded in taking away some cash and personal belongings and threatened Twumasi and his family during the terrifying incidence.

“They attacked me and made away with several items, they pointed a gun at me and my family and I had no option than to allow them take whatever they wanted,” he is quoted by ghanasportsonline

“They threatened to kill my family and I and made away with all the money in the house.”

The matter has been reported to the Legon Police Station and an investigation has started to hunt down the people behind the crime.

The 22-year-old had a fruitful season with Astana by helping them to clinch the Kazakh Premier League crown.

He earned a call-up to the Black Stars recently in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying game in Tamale.
