Ghana fall drastically in the latest FIFA ranking

The Black Stars are dropped from 45th to 53rd in the FIFA ranking for the month of November, following poor run of form

The Black Stars' 0-2 defeat against the Pharaohs of Egypt on 13 November in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying game has affected their place in both the FIFA ranking and rating on the African continent.

Meanwhile Ghana have fallen from 5th place to 9th in Africa.

Senegal despite losing 1-2 in a controversial FIFA World Cup qualifying tie against South Africa are still the highest ranked African nation in the FIFA raking-33rd, followed by Ivory Coast and Tunisia, tied on the 34th place.

Argentina remain top for November, but have seen their command on the summit weakened by close rivals Brazil.

After a good run of form in FIFA World Cup qualifying, A Seleção have surpassed Germany and closed the distance to their South American neighbours, as the year-end approaches.
