Avram Grant names squad for Mauritius game

Asamoah Gyan has not been named in the Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The coach named two goalkeepers from the Ghana Premier League out of the three shot stoppers called up.

UEFA Champions League finalist Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid was also called up with Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew returning to the team having missed the last international game due to injury.

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan did not make the squad with Patrick Twumasi of FC Astana in Kazakhstan making the list.

Ghana lead Group H in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with 10 points ahead of Rwanda who have six points, Mauritius who have six points and Mozambique with just a single point.
