The Ghana midfielder started the scoring, but lasted for just 45 minutes, since the entire 11 players were replaced in the second half.

Ewandro, Perica (penalty) and Jankto added thier names on the scoresheet for Udinese, with Kuziaev and Torje scoring the two goals for the visitors.

Agyemang Badu is expected to be handed a starting spot, after returning from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) when his side face Sassuolo on Sunday in the Italian Serie A.
