Hearts of Oak have improved under me: Kenichi

The head coach of the Phobians says he has transformed the Accra giants, ever since he took over

Kenichi Yatsuhashi believes he has turned things around for Accra Hearts of Oak in his short time as head coach of the club.

Hearts of Oak defeated Ufeanyi Ubah of Nigeria by 2-0 courtesy goals from Sumudeen Ibrahim in his first competitive game for his new club and Thomas Abbey.

Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi, who has been under immense pressure, since he took charge of the the team, following the victory, stated that Accra Hearts of Oak have been displaying good football under his watch as coach.

“We have been playing well: Our second game against Al Ahly in Tripoli was a good performance, but a lot of people didn’t get access to the game and also the goalless draw against Aduana Stars in the G6 was another good performance from the team, but due to the light that went off, people were denied the opportunity to watch it on TV.
