Kevin Durant is poised to be one of the most sought-after free agents this off-season, but what the Oklahoma City Thunder star will not do is some grand recruiting tour.

After watching an NBA Finals berth slip through the Thunder's grasp against defending champions the Golden State Warriors, Durant told reporters on Wednesday he will not travel from city to city to be wined and dined by interested teams once the league's free-agency period begins on July 1.

"That's not who I am," Durant said during the Thunder's post-season media availability. "I'm not that type of person."

The Thunder's season came to an end on Monday after losing to the Warriors.

Oklahoma City surrendered a 3-1 series lead in the Western Conference finals and there is wide speculation Durant will leave the Thunder after nine seasons with the franchise.

Many believe the 27-year-old and 2014 NBA MVP will eventually head to his hometown of Washington.

"I will talk to my agent, my best friend and my dad," Durant told ESPN Monday. "Just talk to those three guys and get some advice from other people. But for the most part, I will talk to them in the next couple of weeks."

Durant was the league's seventh-highest paid player this season with a salary of nearly $22million.

While that number will not increase much — LeBron James has an annual price tag of $24m — Durant will have to decide which team gives him the best option to win a championship.

The seven-time All-Star has helped lead the Thunder to the conference finals four times, reaching the NBA Finals in 2012, only to lose to James and the Miami Heat in five games.

The Wizards have a ton of space under the NBA's soft salary cap and Durant could join rising stars John Wall and Bradley Beal. The University of Texas alum could also opt for one of the three Texas teams with the San Antonio Spurs as the most likely option to team Durant up with Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, while providing aging veterans Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili with one last chance at another title.

The Heat are another team with a bunch of room under the cap, as are the Boston Celtics, who would love Durant's versatility to go with their talented backcourt.
