Conley played in just 56 games this season after experiencing Achilles tendonitis last month, averaging 15.3 points and 6.1 assists.

Wallace insists the 28-year-old Conley will remain in Memphis, telling ESPN Radio: "We are undefeated in re-signing our core players, and we will remain so.

"We are going to re-sign Mike Conley."

The Grizzlies, who are trailing the San Antonio Spurs 2-0 in their first-round play-off series, have been hit hard by the injury bug this season.

Starting center Marc Gasol was lost for the season in early February after breaking his foot, and back-up point guard Mario Chalmers tore his Achilles last month.

Conley's injury troubles go back to last season, when he came into the play-offs with plantar fasciitis and then suffered a facial fracture against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round.
