I am more ambitious than Andre - Jordan

Jordan Ayew says he is more ambitious than brother Andre Ayew but the footballers are still united.

Jordan who followed his elder brother’s footsteps to make a transfer move from Aston Villa to Swansea City in the January transfer window also talked about how united he and his brother is, calling Andre his lawyer.

Talking about a transfer move that cost Swansea City £5 million and Neil Taylor, former Olympique Marseille and FC Lorient striker Jordan Ayew said of his ambitions:

“I spoke to my brother about coming to Swansea because he is like my lawyer. Our parents did so well to educate us in the best possible way and to keep us united.

“Our background is so strong that no one can break us. There is no rivalry between us, but maybe I am more ambitious than him!”

The Black Stars forward who played in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana discussed his performance last year saying:

“Last year I wasn't consistent. Why? I don't know, maybe because of the situation,' he added. 'But now I'm coming into a team where I feel the confidence from the club, the coach and the players.

“I have not really enjoyed my football for the last 18 months. But Swansea have given me the chance to come here and I just want to do my best.”
