Avram Grant is sure his team will perform well against Russia in the international friendly.
The four-time African champions will be playing as guests to the European side. Ghana will be using the game to prepare for their upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
“We played a game on Saturday and had to come to Russia right afterwards. We did not have enough time to train but I am confident my boys will give a good game,” Grant told the Russian media.
“The Russia team is new because only seven of the players that played the Euros are still with the squad. They have a new coach and have played only one game so far under him.
“I watched that game against Turkey and I know they have a good team,” he added.
It will be the second game for the Black Stars in three days after drawing 1-1 with Rwanda in Accra in the final Group H AFCON qualifier.
Ghana have qualified for next year’s AFCON tourney which will held in Gabon.
