For the third time this week, a Russian athlete has been stripped of a medal won at the Beijing Olympics following re-testing of stored samples.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been conducting re-analysis of various samples from the last two Games - in Beijing and London.
Evgeniia Kolodko - silver medallist in the women's shot put at London 2012 - is the latest competitor to be retroactively disqualified, after re-testing of her samples resulted in positive tests for the prohibited substances dehydrochlormethyltestosterone (turinabol) and ipamorelin.
On Tuesday, the IOC disqualified the women's 4x100 metre relay team that had claimed gold for Russia eight years ago, after Yuliya Chermoshanskaya tested positive for turinabol and stanozolol.
The women's 4x400m team of Russia that competed in Beijing were then stripped of their silver medal, due to Anastasia Kapachinskaya testing positive for the same substances as Chermoshanskaya.
