Ghana skipper eulogises Andre Ayew for his kind gesture

Asamoah Gyan has hailed the West Ham United forward for purchasing air tickets for some of the Black Stars players for their tie against Rwanda.

Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan has commended Andre Ayew for taking the initiative to foot the airfares of some of the playing body who are not in good financial standing.

The Sports Ministry wanted a majority of local players to feature against Rwanda because the ministry is facing financial challenges and moreover the Black Stars have already booked a place in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

However, the foreign-based players volunteered to foot the airfares and Andre Ayew assisted the other players who weren’t in a good financial standing to buy tickets for the tie.

Asamoah Gyan, who was busily sorting out his club issues has hailed his teammate for coming to the aid of his colleagues.

The 30-year-old striker has sealed a one-year loan move to Al Ahli in the United Arab Emirates.
