GFA has already decided on next Black Stars coach- Herbert Addo

Herbert says the Ghana Football Association has already mtaken a decision on who to hand the Black Stars job to.

A six man search committee headed by the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has been set up to appoint a Avram Grant's successor.

Application has opened for coaches to apply and those who qualify for the job, but would not apply are supposed to be headhunted.

Addo, however, who wants a local coach appointed for the job believes it is a waste of time for coaches to apply because the Ghana Football Association already knows the next Black Stars coach.

''They have already decided who to give the job to, it has already been decided,'' the former Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies coach told Starr FM.

''Asking coaches to send their applications is just a formality but I will like a local coach to handle the Black Stars.

''We have competent coaches to handle the Black Stars, but they need to be confident and be willing to take up the position.''

Meanwhile, James Kwesi Appiah, the first indigene to qualify the Black Stars for the FIFA World Cup in 2004 has been tipped to land the job.
