Sunderland prepare £10m bid as Ghanaian fails to commit to Swansea

Sunderland are preparing a £10 transfer offer for Ghanaian player Andre Ayew as Sam Allardyce seeks for his services for the second time this year.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is preparing a £10 million transfer bid for the Ghanaian player as he seeks to tempt Swansea City for the second time this year.

Allardyce offered a bid for the player who joined Swansea City from Olympique Marseille in the January transfer window.

With Swansea City battling for a stay in the Premier League at the time, they still managed to keep hold of the Ghanaian player.

Andre Ayew has however failed to commit his future to the Welsh club saying in a recent interview:

“I think you should ask the chairman [Ayew on a possible transfer move].

“I’m happy here. If I have to stay, fine. If I have to leave, I have to leave.

“What is important for me is that I keep doing my work, and in football the truth of today is not the truth of tomorrow.

“We’ll see what’s going to happen, we’ll have a discussion and see the way forward.”

Andre Ayew was the top scorer at Swansea City after scoring 12 goals in his first Premier League season.t
