Ghanaian attacker named in CAF Player of the Year shortlist
Andre Ayew is the only Ghanaian named in the CAF 30-man shortlist for the African Footballer of the Year 2016.

Andre Ayew was outstanding for Swansea City in his debut season in 2015-16, scoring 11 league goals to emerge as the Club’s top scorer, which influenced West Ham United to secure his signature at club record signing fee.
Apart from Andre Ayew, no other Ghanaian made the list.
