Black Stars deputy skipper, Andre Ayew has been allowed to fly to France for treatment at his former club, Olympique Marseille.

Andre Ayew completed his 20.6 million club record fee from Swansea City to West Ham United this summer.

But he broke his thigh on his debut against Chelsea FC in a game his side lost 2-0 in the London derby.

Andre Ayew is expected to return to the field in December, but the 26-year old attacking midfielder who fears his recovery could delay has sought permission from the Hammers to seek treatment in France.

Andre Ayew, who is the deputy skipper of the Black Stars is expected to recover and join the Black Stars for next year's Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off in January.
