President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed that he is a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Real Madrid.

President Akufo-Addo said this when the President of Federation of International Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino paid a courtesy call on him at the Flag Staff House on Monday.

This  has ended the long term rumours linking Nana Addo with Accra Hearts of Oak.

Asante Kotoko has a rich history, as Ghana’s most successful club, while Real Madrid is the most successful club in the world.

In 2007, Asante Kotoko and Real Madrid were named the African club of the century and the world club of the century, respectively by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, based on their performances in a period of 100 years.
