Afriyie Afriyie was sent off as his Torino side somehow managed to scrape a point away to Pescara on Wednesday night in the Serie A.

The Ghana midfielder was red carded after receiving a second yellow card for a sliding tackle.

Acquah, who was playing his fifth Serie A game this season, received his first yellow card the 25th minute before a crunching tackle before the whistle attracted the second.

Torino were down to nine men after Giuseppe Vives blatantly took out Mitrita to stop him going clear on goal. The referee opted for a straight red card, as it was so obviously cynical, reducing the Granata to nine men.
