Abedi Pele, Oppong Weah, Kuffour to feature in charity game in Kumasi

Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi will be the venue of attraction when African football stars gather to play a charity game.

Kanu Heart Foundation and Nelson Mandela Foundation for charitable initiatives are the organisers of event that will ensure about 40 African football legends are assembled in Kumasi for a Charity/Peace football match.

Three times African footballer of the year Abedi Pele and the only African to win the FIFA Footballer of the Year, George Oppong Weah amongst other notable names like Samuel Osei Kuffour, Patrick Mboma of Cameroon, Benny Mc Carthy (South Africa), Anthony Baffoe (Ghana), Kalusha Bwalya (Zambia),  Lucas  Radebe and Mark Fish (South Africa) will be in action

Also expected are Didier Drogba (Cote d’Ivoire), Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon), El-hadji Diouf (Senegal), Benjani Mwaruwari (Zimbabwe), Frédéric Kanouté (Mali), Phil Masinga (South Africa), Peter Ndlovu (Zimbabwe), Samuel Kuffour of Ghana and the legendary Roger Milla of Cameroon.
