Ghana finish as the only side without goal conceded
The Black Starlets topped group A of the 2017 CAF U-17 Championship and finished the group stage without conceding a goal.

The best chance of the game came the way of Ghana’s Edmund Mensah who needed to nod home a ball floated into the 18-yard box, however he headed it over the post to give the Guineans a sigh of relief in the late minute
Free scoring Ghana had defeated Cameroon 4-0 in their opening game before they thrashed host nation Gabon 5-0 and in their final group game they drew goalless against Guinea, hence they finished the group stage as the only side that didn’t concede any goal.
Guinea after picking the one point in the game joined Ghana who had already secured qualification to the 2017 FiFA World Cup in India to the last four of the competition.
