Latif Blessing has been invited into the Black Stars as they prepare for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon.

Avram Grant's charges held their first local training session at the St Aquinas School Park on Wednesday in Accra.

Blessing who bagged 17 goals to win the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League topscorer was among the players spotted training.

The like of Majid Waris, Ebenezer Assifuah, David Accam, Ebenezer Ofori, Bernard Tekpeteh, Samuel Tetteh, Frank Acheampong, Harison Afful, etc, etc were among the players who were in attendance at training.

The Black Stars have been drawn in group D of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations alongside Egypt, Congo and Uganda.

The continental showpiece will commence on January 17, 2017.
