Togo name WAFA striker Agbegniadan in final 23-man squad

The head coach of the Togolese national team, Claude Le Roy has included striker for West Africa Football Academy (WAFA)  Komlan Agbegniadan in his final 23-man squad for the 2017 AFCON

Agbegniadan scored eight league goals including a brace against Hearts of Oak in the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Adebayor the skipper of the side was selected to lead the team despite being clubless at the moment.

Togo have been drawn in group C alongside defending champions Ivory Coast, Morocco and DR Congo.

They open their AFCON 2017 campaign against the Ivorians on 16 January.
