Razak Brimah 4/10: Was jittery throughout the game. His bad timing and failure to anticipate a whopping freekick resulted in Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui's first goal. Was also slow to react to Bassogog's late goal.

Harrison Afful 5/10: Was always ready to race upfield and help to support the attack for the home side, but didn't have much quality in the final third

Daniel Amartey 6/10: Used his pace well to cover in behind Boye and frustrate Ndip Tambe on a number of important occasions.

John Boye 4/10: Strong in the tackle and had enough pace to ensure that the Cameroonian attackers struggled to get in behind but his poor clearance with his head resulted in Cameroon's first goal.

Frank Acheampong 4/10: Was Ghana's weak link in defence in the first half and was constantly tormented by Bassogog.. Was caught out of position on a few occasions before pushing further forward in the second half, where he was too often poor in possession.

Thomas Teye Partey 7/10: Broke up play quite well and was a physical presence in the middle of the park, always keen to kick-start breaks

Mubarak Wakaso 6/10: The central midfielder covered acres of space to support the defence and take part in build-up play from deep. Sat at the base of midfield patiently and always looked to keep the ball moving to keep the Black Stars working.

Afriyie Acquah 5/10: Neat on the ball and always looked to play forward when the Black Stars were trying to break at pace

Christian Atsu 6/10: Hard a tough evening against Oyongo in the first half but improved in the first half and was always willing to carry the ball and cause a few problems with drifting infield .

Andre Ayew 4/10: Found it difficult to find much space in the middle of the pitch. Wasn’t able to make an impact where he was needed and was lazy with his defending.

Jordan Ayew 6/10: Missed a great first-half chance from a tight angle and another in the second, however his movement caused some problems for the Cameroonians, and he worked incredibly hard to cover a lot of ground.
