Avram Grant hints at ending Black Stars coaching job next month

Israeli coach, Avram Grant is set to quit next month as the coach of the Black Stars when his contract runs out.

Avram, 61 was appointed by the Ghana Football Association as coach of the Black Stars in late 2014.

He was tasked to do well with the Black Stars in 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), but he was told to guide the team to win the 2017 AFCON in Gabon.

Despite, helping Ghana to finish second in 2015, the former Chelsea coach has come under intense criticisms from Ghanaians for his failure to stay in the country to monitor the local league.

Avram Grant, who is currently with the Black Stars in Gabon as they participate in the 2017 AFCON has given a hint that he wont accept a new contract from the GFA.

"I came for two years in Ghana, we extended to two years and three months because we qualified for the Nations Cup," Grant told BBC Sport.

"I will always take good memories from here, but hopefully the last memory will be the best one."

"I am happy with what I have achieved in my career. In my life I never plan. What will happen, will happen. Let's see.

"I am looking forward myself to see what will happen."
