Angry Togo fans attack goalkeeper Agassa's home after poor display

Angry fans attacked the home of Togo's Kossi Agassa and the "scarred" goalkeeper is now a major doubt for the decisive Africa Cup of Nations clash against DR Congo on Tuesday.

Agassa was at fault for two of Morocco's goals in the Sparrowhawks second game of the tournament, as the Group C minnows lost 3-1.

'Agassa does not deserve such treatment,' manager Claude Le Roy said ahead of Tuesday's game against DR Congo, in which a win will see Togo reach the quarter-finals.

'We are all supporting him because, after all, football is a game.

'He is very upset and it has had an impact on the morale of the whole team, I think it has scarred him too much psychologically.

'His mum has so far found it difficult to talk about it, it was so stressful and a cause of panic for her. I really doubt he will be able to play a third match.'
