Ghanaian goalkeeper ships nine goals in four games for Portland Timbers

Adam Kwarasey conceded four goals against Orlando City in the Major League Soccer on Sunday

The Ghanaian shot stopper was superb for his Portland Timbers in their journey to wining the MLS cup.

However, Adam Kwarasey has shipped nine goals in four matches this season, conceding four in Sunday’s game agaisnt Orlando City.

Orlando City who were buoyed by Kaka opened the scoring after 13 minutes through Seb Hines. Brek Shea doubled the lead to send Portland Timbers into the first half break trailing by two goals without reply.

Kaka and Kevin Molino [penalty] also put two past Adam Kwarasey in the second half with Jack McInerney scoring a consolation for away team Portland Timbers.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper will hope to turn the fortunes around when Portand Timbers play LA Galaxy next week.

Adam Kwarasey recently returned from his break from the Ghana senior national team and was called by Avram Grant for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations games against Mozambique during the international break.

The goalkeeper however did not play a part in both games for Ghana with Razak Brimah keeping his position in post for the Black Stars.
