Women Organizer for the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr Regina Degadzor said government must allocate some financial packages for women in SMEs to boost their business.

“If government can quote some money for women in SMEs and grassroots women, just something small to support so they can enhance their businesses for their business to grow because we visit women in the regions and all they need is something like Ghc200 t0 Gh¢500 not up to Ghc1000 just to boost their business” .

International Women’s Day, originally called International Working Women’s Day, and is celebrated on March 8 every year. It commemorates the struggle for women’s rights.
