Rev Owusu Bempah says Maurice Ampaw should shut up

The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has asked Lawyer Maurice Ampaw to stay away from issues relating to Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan.

Speaking to Happy FM, Rev Owusu Bempah stated that Maurice Ampaw does not come close to what Gyan has done for the country.

He believes the legal practitioner is craving for unnecessary attention by propagating mischief.

“Asamoah Gyan has been helpful to this country and I think we should rather be talking about that than what that lawyer [Maurice Ampaw] has been saying. Asamoah Gyan is the hope of Ghana and Black Stars but I don’t see any impact that lawyer Ampaw has made. I can’t see what that lawyer Ampaw has done for this country to be given such an attention. All I’m saying is, if he is an idol lawyer who does not have any case to settle in court, he should not ride on Asamoah Gyan to be famous. We need Asamoah Gyan than that lawyer Ampaw so he must shut up and leave Asamaoh Gyan alone,” he fumed.

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has on countless number of occasions stated that he has enough evidence to prove that Asamoah Gyan raped and sodomised Sarah Kwabla.

“Per the evidence I have, Asamoah raped and sodomised Sarah Kwablah. This isn’t an allegation. It is based on the evidence I have. And I’m daring Asamoah Gyan to take me to court and I will produce the evidence in court… If he wants to attack somebody, he shouldn’t attack Maurice Ampaw,” the lawyer said on Hitz FM.

However, lawyer Kissi Agyabeng has said his client was involved in consensual intercourse with the 22-year-old university student, Sarah Kwabla.
