NDC vows to arrest anyone who votes against Prez Mahama

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Bismark Tawiah has indicated that the party will arrest persons who will vote against President John Mahama in the party’s upcoming Presidential and parliamentary primaries on November 7.

The Regional Chairman addressing branch and constituency executives at an outreach program to endorse the candidature of President Mahama in the Lower Manya Krobo constituency in the Eastern Region, said "If you say you are a branch executive and you register NPP member, listen very well, he won't get the opportunity to vote. If he/she is a member of the NPP and he/she makes his or her mind to vote against no and disgrace John Mahama, that person will be arrested."

He, however sounded a word of caution to any member of the NPP who has his or her name in the register of the NDC to desist from voting on November 7 or would be arrested.
