What EC plans to do ahead of 2016 Elections

The Electoral Commission has indicated that Ghana will conduct this year's elections on November 7, 2016.

The Electoral Commission has lined up a good number of activities to constitute its road map for Elections 2016, including IPAC meetings, the recruitment of Registration Supervisors and Technicians, Pilot Registration Exercises, recruitment of Registration Officers, Laminators and Data Entry Clerks as well as Capacity Building for media personnel on Election reportage.

Education on changes in C.I 72 (Voter Registration Regulations) is also on the table, plus announcement and commencement of publicity, submission of list of proposed Registration Supervisors and Officers to interested persons or parties at the District office and the Training of Grass-root Registration Officials (RO, ROSD, Laminators, Data Entry Clerks, Technical Training (3) per Registration Centre).
