The immediate past national chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Kwabena Adjei has cited reasons which led to the defeat of former President John Mahama in the 2016 elections.
He said Mr Mahama surrounded himself with inexperienced handlers.
"His [Mahama] handlers misled him. They were inexperienced. I will say this anywhere without fear or favour. We are all to blame."
"Relatively inexperienced people were around the President. I will say it and say it again. I haven’t mention babies with sharp teeth or blunt teeth," he said.
According to him, Mahama appointed young boys to help him run the economy knowing very well that they had no experience in politics.
Speaking on Starr Chat on Accra-based Starr FM Wednesday, Dr. Kwabena Adjei said the executives sidelined him during the electioneering campaign.

"I’ve a wealth of experience. The young ones failed to tap into our experience… the NDC has run into a ditch and we have to do our best to resurrect that party. Right now who becomes an executive member is out of place," Dr. Adjei said.
