President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo is assuring Ghanaians of better days ahead as he prepares to assume office on January 7, 2017.
He said: "I am aware of the many challenges that confronted Ghanaians this year. We should not see the economic difficulties of today as the blueprint of our tomorrow. There are brighter days ahead."
The president-elect also struck a reconciliatory tone, calling on Ghanaians to stay united.
"We should continue to stay united and focus on the things that can help us construct the road to a brighter future."
