President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today January 24, 2017 name his nominees for regional minister positions.
The names of the persons to occupy these positions have already been penciled but would be handed to parliament to vet the ministerial nominees.
Nana Addo made this known at the announcement of the third batch of ministerial nominees on Thursday January 12, 2017.

So far 36 ministerial nominees have been named for various positions, awaiting parliamentary vetting and subsequent approval before they can start work.

Yaw Osafo Maafo – Senior Minister of State, Albert Kan Dapaah – Security Ministry, Ken Ofori-Atta – Finance Minister, Dominic Nitiwul – Defense Minister designate.
Gloria Akuffo – Attorney-General and Justice Minister designate, Ambrose Dery – Interior Ministry, Hajia Alima Mahama – Local Government & Rural Development Minister designate, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen – Trade and Industry Minister designate.
Others are Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto – Agriculture Minister designate, Boakye Agyarko – Energy Minister designate, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway – Foreign Affairs Minister designate, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh – Education Minister designate, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu – Health Minister designate, Henry Kokofu – Lands, Forestry and Natural Resources Ministry, Mustapha Hamid – Information Ministry, Cecilia Dapaah – Transport Ministry, Joe Ghartey – Railway Ministry, Isaac Asiamah – Youth And Sports Ministry.
