Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo has affirmed his position to work with everybody in the party who shares in aspirations and visions in winning the 2016 general elections.

Nana Addo has revealed that the troubles that have afflicted the party have given him serious cause for worry over the last few months.

Nana Addo speaking at the 15th extraordinary conference of the party in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region, he said “I reject out rightly the malicious refrain that I decide people in the NPP that I can work with and those that I cannot work with…my training and practice as a lawyer and politician thrives on divergent opinion. I have worked with people whose politics I do not like. When I was in parliament I worked with different people different committees and we produced works that we were all proud of.
"I, however, cannot accept and tolerate members who work to derail the party’s chances of winning the elections, he added.

"I wish we had been able to find a less painful way to address the problem that has bedeviled our party, I have been involved in ways to resolve it and I must admit it has been very frustrating."
He revealed that the troubles that have afflicted the party have given him serious cause for worry over the last few months.
He added that the electioneering campaign of the NPP is going to be fully decentralized and charged all members of the campaign team to work hard for the 2016 elections.
Former President John Kufuor on his part also said the NPP is the only party that can give the change Ghanaians are yearning for.

He indicated that Ghana at the moment is “demanding change” because the nation has “come to a very critical stage and fearful crossroads.”
