"I will make money from General Asiedu Nketia so that next time when he open his mouth he will think before he talk."

The man who has openly come out to challenge President JohnMahama in the upcoming primaries of the National Democratic Congress, George Boateng is threatening to sue NDC general secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

"I will take him to court and I will sue him sue on the comment that he was making that I have a mental illness... he will prove the medical record shows. I will make money from General Asiedu Nketia so that next time when he open his mouth he will think before he talk." He said

Asiedu Nketiah is reported to have said on Neat Fm that George Boateng may have a mental problem and needs psychiatric care.

Boateng picked up his nomination forms yesterday to the surprise of many despite what seems to be the NDC's resolve to let President Mahama go unchallenged in the presidential primaries.

Boateng, who is the youth organizer of the Oyarifa branch, told Pulse.com.gh in an interview that no amount of pressure from party executives will dissuade him from contesting the president.

"I don't blame him because he is now in Accra city," Boateng said referring to Asiedu Nketia, "while he was in his village, if he has any thank he should give the thank to the former president JJ Rawlings. It's the former president who brought him...for him to know what is called life."

He added that he has the support of his constituency executives who are all in poverty.

Boateng said he has a lot of experience after several years of working with the customs division of the Ghana revenue authority. He is married with seven children.
